Charities

Although the show itself costs money to mount, the other events we organise enable us to raise funds for charities. Over the last nine years, we have donated more than £18,000 to many causes.  By attending our events you are helping us to support charitable work, as well as continuing to run the show.

In 2022 we were very pleased to play an important part in the fund raising for the improved playground facilities on the Playing Field and we donated £2,500 to this cause. The local branch of the RDA (Riding for the Disabled) benefitted from a donation by us of £1,000.

For the first time, we opened up the opportunity to the community to seek donations and we made a donation of £450 to the local Youth Club for their new Pool Table to go into the new Village Hall.

A total of almost £4,000 was therefore donated to local good causes in the Grundisburgh and surrounding area.

 

In 2023 a total of almost £2,000 was donated to local good causes in the Grundisburgh and surrounding area, in particular just over £1,000 for Bags for Food via the Church and also £400 towards the Grundisburgh Lunch Club.
