Craft Fair

What do you look for in a craft fair? We like a really good variety of craftwork and produce, some handmade, home-baked, lovingly cooked, painted, crafted or grown; unusual and unique, useful or gorgeously decorative, a delightful treat or a practical necessity. We want our stalls to pique your interest, to show you the irresistible one-offs, the hand-turned, carefully created and the knowledgeably nurtured or made. We’ve invited over 30 clever craftspeople, artists, knitters, sewists, beaders and like-minded makers, bakers and growers of interesting things from all over Suffolk and the far reaches of Essex to bring their wares to our show – especially for you.

You can meet and talk to the makers and growers: find out about their offerings and discuss how they are made. We don’t sell mass-produced imports: you can expect to find the unique, the one-off, the hand-made – something to perfectly suit as a gift for a friend or a treat for yourself.

We’ll have a number of unusual offerings including handmade walking canes, hand-knitted children’s clothes, hand-sewn bags, a character artist, all kinds of jewellery, artist cards and pretty coasters, turned wood household items, bowls, fruit, dibbers and bee-hotels, as well as the home body shop. Many of our table-holders are local Country Market regulars, so you know their quality standards are high.

No real Craft Fair is without delectable refreshments: of course we’ll have home-baked cakes, tea and coffee, light refreshments and even strawberry afternoon teas – with melt-in-your-mouth scones – in the pavilion, and a barbecue, with the possibility of ice cream.

Support our talented table-holders and the local economy and pop into the Grundisburgh Craft Fair, Sunday, 15 July, 2018, 11-4pm. Entry and parking is free. The Country Market co-operative is running the Craft Fair and a number of charities will benefit from your purchases.
